Mountain Mahalo is the heart of two places we call home — Hawai‘i and Central Oregon. One side of our family was born in the islands, surrounded by aloha spirit, vibrant flavors, and the tradition of gathering over shave ice. The other side born and raised right here in Central Oregon, grounded in community, hard work, and a deep love for these mountains and this land. Bringing those two worlds together feels natural to us — island warmth meets high desert sunshine. For us, shave ice is more than a treat. It’s a moment to slow down, connect, and share joy with the people who matter most.
